Gibran Rides Motorcycle Himself During Agats Asmat Visit, Shouted 'Young Jokowi'

Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka took the handlebars of an electric motorcycle himself during a working visit to Agats, Asmat, Papua, on Sunday (21/6/2026). Upon arrival in Agats, he rode the provided electric motorcycle without a Paspampres officer riding pillion, though security personnel followed behind on their own bikes. Gibran appeared relaxed riding the light blue motorcycle, bearing registration plate PS 3400 AS, while wearing a black helmet. He rode quite quickly and even overtook the Paspampres escorting him. Residents cheered enthusiastically upon seeing Gibran ride the motorcycle himself, with some capturing the moment. ‘It was really amazing, just like his father Jokowi when he came here, but younger,’ said a local named Christian on Sunday (21/6/2026).
