Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka has opened a complaints service for members of the public experiencing difficulties, including those unable to pay school tuition fees. The service at the Vice President’s office operates from Monday to Friday.

Gibran made the announcement after performing Isya and Tarawih prayers on the second evening of Ramadan 1447 H at the Al-Falaah Mosque in Manggarai, Tebet, South Jakarta, on Thursday 19 February 2026.

According to Gibran, the Vice President’s Office in Kebon Sirih is prepared to facilitate the resolution of various public concerns, from the redemption of withheld diplomas to outstanding school fee arrears.

“Residents usually come to our office to raise whatever problems they have — such as redeeming diplomas or being unable to pay school fees. These can be resolved at our office in Kebon Sirih,” Gibran said in a statement received on Friday 20 February 2026.

He stressed that members of the public may visit in person on any working day, Monday through Friday, to present their concerns. All complaints, he said, would be studied and solutions sought.

Earlier in the evening, Gibran had joined local residents for congregational Tarawih prayers. The Isya prayer was led by Ustadz Zahrul Bayumi, followed by a sermon from Ustadz Rohmat on the importance of mutual forgiveness, and concluded with Tarawih and Witir prayers.

During the occasion, Gibran also conveyed warm greetings from President Prabowo Subianto, who is currently on duty abroad, and invited the community to pray for the smooth discharge of the Head of State’s responsibilities.

“Warm greetings to you all from President Prabowo. He is currently on duty overseas. Let us pray that he remains in good health and is granted ease in carrying out his duties,” Gibran said.

He explained that he had deliberately chosen a mosque in a densely populated area in order to foster community ties and absorb public aspirations directly. From local neighbourhood leaders, he received various pieces of information about issues that frequently arise during the Development Planning Consultation (Musrenbang) process.

“We will look into this further, Pak RW, and we will try to find solutions,” he affirmed.

At the close of the event, Gibran expressed appreciation for the warm welcome from residents and prayed for a smooth Ramadan and good health for the entire community. “Thank you so much for welcoming me to worship here. May your fasting and worship go smoothly and may you all be blessed with good health,” he concluded.
