Gianyar Regency, Bali Achieves IDR 1.99 Trillion in Local Revenue in 2025
Gianyar, Bali — The Regent of Gianyar, Bali, Made Mahayastra presented the realisation of local own-source revenue (PAD) which reached IDR 1.99 trillion in 2025, a significant jump compared to IDR 1.68 trillion in the same period of 2024.
“Gianyar’s macroeconomic development indicators for 2025 show positive trends,” Mahayastra said during a plenary session presenting the Statement of Financial and Performance Accountability Report (LKPJ) 2025 at the Gianyar Regional House of Representatives on Tuesday.
He added that the realised PAD reached 98.63 per cent of the target of IDR 2.02 trillion.
The PAD realisation forms part of the region’s total revenue for 2025, which reached IDR 3.18 trillion or 96.65 per cent of the target of IDR 3.29 trillion. In addition, there was also transfer revenue of IDR 608 billion.
Meanwhile, the realisation of regional expenditure exceeded regional revenue, reaching IDR 3.30 trillion or 77.46 per cent of the plan of IDR 4.26 trillion.
From the perspective of regional financing, financing receipts were realised at IDR 324 billion and financing expenditure at IDR 175 billion.
In the Accountability Report (LKPJ), the Regent of Gianyar also presented the achievement of the Human Development Index (IPM) for Gianyar Regency in 2025, which reached 80.96, an increase compared to 80.23 in 2024 and falling within the very high IPM category.
This achievement was also higher compared to the IPM for Bali Province of 79.37 and the national figure of 75.90.
He also disclosed that the poverty rate in Gianyar declined to 3.71 per cent in 2025 from 4 per cent in 2024, and was lower than the national poverty rate of 8.25 per cent. Meanwhile, the unemployment rate also declined from 1.98 per cent in 2024 to 1.55 per cent in 2025, or approximately 5,036 people.
