Gianyar Police Conduct Pre-Operation Exercise Ahead of Ramadan 2026 Security Operation
The Pre-Operation Exercise (Latpraops) for Operation Ketupat Agung 2026 was held at the Catur Prasetya Building of Gianyar Police precinct on Wednesday, 11 March 2026. The training, led by Police Chief AKBP Chandra Citra Kusuma, was conducted in preparation for the 2026 Ramadan security operation.
The Operation Ketupat Agung 2026 pre-operation exercise was attended by the Head of Operations at Gianyar Police precinct along with officials and personnel involved in the Operation Ketupat Agung 2026 operational order. The exercise was carried out to demonstrate personnel readiness in facing the comprehensive Eid al-Fitr security arrangements.
During the event, Chandra emphasised the importance of all personnel being prepared to understand their duties and responsibilities throughout Operation Ketupat Agung 2026. He stated that the pre-operation exercise was a crucial component in aligning perceptions and enhancing personnel readiness in the field.
“Through this pre-operation exercise, it is hoped that all personnel will understand their respective duties, functions, and responsibilities so that Operation Ketupat Agung 2026 can be conducted professionally and optimally,” said Chandra.
The former Tabanan Police Chief also reminded all personnel to prioritise discipline and comply with procedures during their duties.
“We emphasise to all members that they must not commit violations whilst performing their duties and should always prioritise safety by implementing body system security protocols in the field,” Chandra added.
Chandra expressed hope that the entire Operation Ketupat Agung 2026 across Gianyar Police’s jurisdiction will run safely, orderly, and smoothly with maximum personnel preparedness.
