Gianyar Police Chief Leads Promotion Ceremony for Dedicated Officers
The Gianyar Police Chief, AKBP James IS Rajagukguk, led the Promotion Report Ceremony for Dedicated Officers, effective from 1 October 2026, which took place at the Tribrata Assembly Field of the Gianyar Police on Tuesday (6/10/2026) at 08:30 WITA.
The ceremony was attended by the Deputy Chief of Gianyar Police, Kompol Willa July Nendissa, senior officials, local police chiefs, officers, non-commissioned officers, police civil servants, and members of the Bhayankari Gianyar Branch.
Three personnel received promotions as Dedicated Officers: Ipda Dewa Gede Alit Aryono, Ipda Dewa Made Aryawan, and Ipda I Wayan Suadnyana. These promotions represent the institution’s appreciation for their dedication, loyalty, discipline, and service during their tenure as members of the Indonesian National Police (Polri).
In his address, the Gianyar Police Chief stated that a promotion is not merely a change in rank insignia, but carries significance as a form of recognition for the long journey of service provided by personnel to the institution.
“I would like to congratulate the three personnel receiving promotions as Dedicated Officers. Let this momentum serve as a form of gratitude and motivation to continue maintaining the integrity, honour, and reputation of the Polri institution until the end of your service,” said James.
The Police Chief also emphasised that any service carried out with full responsibility, loyalty, and integrity holds significant value for both the institution and the community. He noted that police personnel should not only view service through what they receive, but through how much benefit they can provide to the community, nation, and state.
“The journey as a member of the Polri is not always easy. There are challenges, dynamics, joys, and sorrows. Therefore, continue to provide the best service to the community and treat every duty as a part of your service,” he asserted.
On this occasion, the Gianyar Police Chief also expressed his appreciation to the Bhayangkari (Police Wives Association) for their constant support, prayers, and sacrifices for police members. He called upon all personnel to continue increasing solidarity and professionalism in providing protection, guidance, and service to the public, while ensuring that the security and public order situation within the Gianyar Police jurisdiction remains safe and conducive.
