Gianyar DPRD Approves KUA-PPAS for 2027 Regional Budget

The Gianyar Regency Legislative Council (DPRD) in Bali has approved the Nota Kesepakatan on the General Budget Policy (KUA) and the Provisional Budget Ceiling Priorities (PPAS) for the 2027 Regional Budget (APBD). The approval was granted during a plenary session after the council’s Budget Committee conducted an analysis and evaluation. DPRD Chairman I Ketut Sudarsana stated that the KUA and PPAS 2027 are in accordance with Government Regulation No. 12 of 2019 on Regional Financial Management and Home Affairs Minister Regulation No. 77 of 2020 on Technical Guidelines for Regional Financial Management. The agreement was formalised through the signing of the Nota Kesepakatan, which serves as the primary guideline for the executive branch in drafting the 2027 APBD. The documents outline the basic assumptions for regional revenue, expenditure, and financing, as well as development priorities, programmes, and activities. With the legislative approval, the Gianyar administration can proceed with drafting the budget on schedule, aiming to enhance public services and accelerate sustainable development. The plenary session was also attended by Gianyar Regent I Made Mahayastra.
