Gianyar Deputy Regent Responds to Council's Views on 2025 Budget Accountability
Gianyar Deputy Regent Anak Agung Gde Mayun has detailed a series of responses to the general views of all DPRD Gianyar factions regarding the draft bylaw on the 2025 budget accountability report. The third plenary session of the Gianyar DPRD was held on Thursday (9/7/2026).
“I will begin by responding to the PDI Perjuangan faction, delivered by Ngakan Ketut Putra, concerning the Audit Results Report from the BPK Representative Office of Bali Province,” said Gde Mayun during the plenary session at the Gianyar DPRD office on Thursday.
Agung Mayun stated that the Gianyar Regency Government has achieved an Unqualified Opinion (WTP) for 12 consecutive times. The latest WTP predicate was obtained for the management of regional finances in the 2025 fiscal year.
He then addressed the response from the Gerindra Party faction regarding development implementation and governance. Agung Mayun said the Gianyar Regency Government has strengthened governance, risk management, and the government internal control system (SPIP).
According to him, these efforts are undertaken to improve the quality of development planning, implementation, and supervision. The Inspectorate, as the government’s internal supervisory apparatus, also oversees and ensures the follow-up of audit recommendations.
Agung Mayun assessed that the WTP opinion is not merely an administrative achievement but also drives improvements in the quality of public services, infrastructure development, and community welfare. “Thank you for the appreciation given; this will continue to be maintained by implementing all recommendations from the BPK as outlined in the Audit Results Report,” said Agung Mayun.
Agung Mayun then touched upon public infrastructure and tourism-supporting infrastructure in Gianyar. He stated that improvements to district roads, subak irrigation, farm roads, and tourism-supporting infrastructure have been carried out. “As part of efforts to improve regional connectivity and economic growth for the community,” he added.
On that occasion, Agung Mayun also answered questions from the Golkar Party faction, delivered by I Gusti Ngurah Ariasa, regarding improving the quality of governance and development. He assured that the Gianyar Regency Government will continue to strengthen the quality of development planning, control, and supervision so that every programme and activity truly yields effective, efficient, quality-assured, and sustainable results for the community.
“Regarding the input on infrastructure, the Gianyar Regency Government pays serious attention to accelerating the repair of district roads, subak irrigation, farm roads, and tourism-supporting infrastructure as part of efforts to improve regional connectivity and community economic growth,” Agung Mayun explained.
Finally, Agung Mayun answered questions from the United Democratic Faction. He emphasised that the Gianyar Regency Government is committed to focusing regional expenditure on priority programmes that have a direct impact on the community. “The regional government also continues to pay attention to priority sectors such as MSME empowerment, social protection, cultural and environmental preservation, and strengthening bureaucratic reform as part of sustainable regional development,” he added.
