Gianyar Regency’s Office of Women’s Empowerment, Child Protection, Population Control and Family Planning (DP3AP2KB) will conduct field fact validation regarding the indicators for the Child-Friendly Regency (KLA) status in 2026. The validation will be conducted in collaboration with other regional agencies.

“In preparation for the independent evaluation of KLA 2026, Gianyar Regency Government through DP3AP2KB held a coordination meeting,” said I Ketut Mudana, Assistant for Government Administration and Public Welfare, in a statement to detikBali on Friday (13 March 2026).

Mudana stated that KLA indicators include several areas: institutional frameworks, civil rights and freedoms, family environment and alternative care, basic health and welfare, education, leisure time activities, cultural activities, special protection, and the implementation of KLA at the district and village or sub-district levels.

There is also application completion and document collection to complement the submission. Mudana expressed hope that the coordination efforts would strengthen cooperation among all parties in achieving Child-Friendly Regency status for Gianyar.

“The success of a Child-Friendly Regency is not merely the responsibility of a single regional agency, namely DP3AP2KB alone, but rather represents cooperation among all regional government agencies and stakeholders in providing data that is both complete and timely,” Mudana explained.
