PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BCA) is once again presenting the Genera-Z Berbakti programme. This programme can be joined by students from various universities in Indonesia who wish to implement innovative ideas and contribute directly to society through Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN), community service programmes, or similar activities in BCA-sponsored tourism villages.

BCA’s EVP of Corporate Communication & Social Responsibility, Hera F. Haryn, explained that Genera-Z Berbakti is a call for proposals programme for student groups committed to carrying out direct service in the midst of society.

“We see great potential in the younger generation as a group that thinks critically and is highly adaptive to technology and innovation. Genera-Z Berbakti serves as a real platform for BCA to encourage student innovations to become solutions for society. This is not just a community service programme, but our commitment to preparing competent, integrity-driven future leaders who can bring positive impact to the nation towards Golden Indonesia 2045,” said Hera.

Genera-Z Berbakti was first introduced in 2025. Four student groups from four different universities were selected as winners. All winners have carried out service in their respective BCA tourism villages, receiving full support from mentoring and training, accompaniment, to funding from BCA until the programme is completed.

In this second chapter, four groups have been selected as winners of Genera-Z Berbakti. The selected groups are entitled to receive funding as well as accompaniment in implementing the programme over a one-month period.

There is also the best group selected, which receives additional appreciation worth a total of hundreds of millions of rupiah along with certificates. Each group must consist of 10-12 students across study programmes/faculties. Prospective participants can choose a maximum of two issues in their proposal.

The focus issues that can be selected are Sustainable Tourism; UMKM Development; Education; Environment; Health; and Culture.

Some options for community service activity locations that prospective Genera-Z Berbakti 2026 participants can choose include Desa Wisata Kreatif Terong, Belitung Regency, Bangka Belitung Islands; Desa Wisata Situs Gunung Padang, Cianjur Regency, West Java; Desa Wisata Patakbanteng, Wonosobo Regency, Central Java; Desa Wisata Kakaskasen Dua, Tomohon City, North Sulawesi.

This programme is open to male and female university students registered with the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology (Kemendikti Saintek), Ministry of Religious Affairs (Kemenag), or other state ministries/institutions pursuing Diploma III, Applied Bachelor, or Bachelor level education.
