The government has officially opened the recruitment process through the National Selection Committee (Panselnas) for 35,476 individuals to manage Red and White Village/Kelurahan Cooperatives (Kopdes Merah Putih). Those who pass the selection will become employees of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) under a Fixed-Term Employment Contract (PKWT) for two years, in line with the programme’s operational strengthening scheme. Coordinating Minister for Food and Chair of the Red and White Village Cooperative Formation Task Force, Zulkifli Hasan or Zulhas, stated that this recruitment aims to find competent individuals to manage KDKMP and KNMP. “The government, through the National Selection Committee for PHTC Human Resources, will open recruitment for Indonesia’s best sons and daughters to participate in managing Red and White Village or Kelurahan Cooperatives and Red and White Fishermen’s Village Cooperatives,” Zulkifli said during a press conference on Wednesday, 15 April 2026. He detailed that the 35,476 positions consist of 30,000 vacancies for Kopdes Merah Putih manager positions, which will be under PT Agrinas Pangan Nusantara. Meanwhile, the remaining 5,476 vacancies are for KNMP employee positions, with employment status under PT Agrinas Jaladri Nusantara. In the recruitment process, the government will conduct an open selection. Registrations have been open since today (15 April) until 24 April 2026 via the website phtc.panselnas.go.id. He added that the selection is open to D3, D4, and S1 graduates from all majors, with a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (IPK) of 2.75 and a maximum age of 35 years. “In addition, we emphasise that all stages of this selection will not incur any fees,” Zulhas continued. He stressed that registrations can only be made through the official website and assured that the selection process will be fair. He also urged prospective applicants to be wary of various forms of scams promising graduation without going through the official selection process. “No party can guarantee graduation. If there is a party that asks for compensation and promises to pass, that means it’s a scam, it’s lying,” he explained. Zulhas mentioned that this selection is the first stage, given that more than 30,000 KDKMP and 1,369 KNMP are targeted to be completed by mid-year. He also conveyed that the government will open subsequent recruitment stages, in line with the target of building 80,000 KDKMP across Indonesia.
