Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartanto has revealed that the government is preparing a stimulus package in response to the rise in fuel prices, particularly after the increase in Pertamax prices as of Wednesday (10/6/2026).

“We are currently preparing the stimulus,” Airlangga told reporters at the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs on Wednesday (10/6/2026).

Airlangga added that he is still monitoring the impact of today’s Pertamax price increase, especially regarding inflation. “We will observe the inflationary impact through transport and prices. We are monitoring it first,” Airlangga continued.

However, it is not yet known when the stimulus will be disbursed. The details have also not been explained, as they must first be reported to President Prabowo Subianto, pending his approval. “Once a decision is made, it will be announced. We must report to the President first,” Airlangga clarified.

Previously, PT Pertamina officially raised the prices of two non-subsidised fuel types effective from 10 June 2026. Based on the PT Pertamina Patra Niaga website, Pertamina increased the prices of non-subsidised Pertamax (RON 92) and Pertamax Green (equivalent to RON 95) starting Wednesday, 10 June 2026.

In DKI Jakarta and surrounding areas, the price of Pertamax (RON 92) from 10 June 2026 is set at Rp 16,250 per litre, an increase of Rp 3,950 per litre from the previous price of Rp 12,300 per litre. Meanwhile, the price of Pertamax at Pertashop outlets is now set at Rp 16,150 per litre.

Pertamax Green 95 is now priced at Rp 17,000 per litre, up Rp 4,100 per litre from the previous price of Rp 12,900 per litre. This marks the first Pertamax price increase following the surge in global oil prices after the Israel-Iran war erupted on 28 February 2026. Whilst other non-subsidised fuel prices experienced increases from 18 April 2026, Pertamax prices had not yet been adjusted.

As for Pertamax Turbo, its price remains unchanged at Rp 20,750 per litre, effective since 1 June 2026. Non-subsidised diesel fuels have seen no changes, with Pertamina DEX priced at Rp 24,800 per litre and Dexlite at Rp 23,000, the same as effective since 1 June 2026. Subsidised fuels such as Pertalite (RON 90) and subsidised Solar also remain unchanged, priced at Rp 10,000 and Rp 6,800 per litre respectively.
