For this year’s 81st Independence Day commemoration, the government is providing 8,100 quotas for the general public in each ceremony session, namely morning and afternoon. Deputy Minister of State Secretary Juri Ardiantoro said the public will have the opportunity to attend through a ticket war mechanism like previous years. ‘Invitations to the public are also given openly through a war ticket mechanism. So later we will also hold a war ticket for members of the public who want to participate in the Seconds of the Proclamation Ceremony at Merdeka Palace,’ said Juri Ardiantoro during a press conference at the Ministry of State Secretariat office on Friday (31/7). The public is urged to only follow information regarding the 81st Independence Day ceremony registration through official government channels, such as the Ministry of State Secretariat website and the Pandang Istana service once the registration portal is opened. In addition, the public is also asked to be wary of false information in the name of independence ceremony registration, especially those requesting payment or personal data outside the official government mechanism.
