Germany offers scholarships

JAKARTA (JP): The government of the Federal Republic of Germany is offering 50 training scholarships for Indonesians who work in the public or private sector.

The scholarship program covers vocational training for professionals in industry and business, environmental protection, natural resource management, agriculture and forestry, the Germany Embassy said in a statement yesterday.

The scholarship program consists of practical in-house training combined with seminars and management workshops.

The program is aimed mainly at junior executives and training staff.

Interested parties should contact the economic cooperation and development section at the German Embassy. (hhr)
