German minister due here

JAKARTA (JP): German State Minister of Economy, Communication
and Technology Otto Wiesheu is due here Monday for a three-day
visit to promote bilateral relations with Indonesia, the German
embassy announced yesterday.

The embassy said in a statement that Wiesheu will hold
meetings with Minister of Transportation Haryanto Dhanutirto,
Minister of Mines and Energy I.B. Sudjana, State Minister of
Research and Technology B.J. Habibie, State Minister of
Investment/Chairman of the Investment Coordinating Board Sanyoto
Sastrowardoyo and Minister of Industry Tunky Ariwibowo.

It said the German minister will also attend a manufacturing
fair in which more than 70 German companies will participate.
