German Investments in Indonesia Surpasses US$141.5 Million[
TEMPO Interactive, Berlin:The realization of German investments in Indonesia in the first semester of this year reached US$141.5 million. The amount was almost equal to the total German investments in Indonesia over the past year which covered 51 projects with a value of US$157.6 million.<br /><br />Gita Wirjawan, Chairman of the Investment Coordinating Board, believeS that based on its 2009 performance, when German investments covered 18 projects worth US$103.9 million, this year’s realization will continue to show an increase.<br /><br />Germany has been on the 13th position of the list countries with biggest investments in Indonesia for the last ten years with a total 224 projects and investment value of US$856.2 million.
