German fugitives arrested in Pattaya
BANGKOK (AFP): Thai immigration police and German Interpol agents have arrested two German fugitives in the resort town of Pattaya, police said yesterday.
The German men -- identified as Willi Kurz, 44, and Andreas Maske, 29 -- were wanted by German authorities on charges of armed robbery of a bank in Koblenz, Germany, according to an arrest warrant issued by a German court.
Kurz and Maske were reported to be running a beach bar in Pattaya when they were arrested on Sunday.
