German composer to perform here

JAKARTA (JP): A rare music performance blending Jazz Rock and
classical compositions will be staged in Erasmus Huis on Jl. H.R.
Rasuna Said, South Jakarta, at 7 p.m. on Thursday.

Organized by the Goethe Institute and the Association of
Indonesian Composers (AKI), the concert features German composer
Detlev Muller-Siemens and the Linos Ensemble. The 11-member
ensemble will play compositions by Siemens's and German composers
Franz Schubert and Gyorgi Ligeti.

The 40-year-old Siemens will hold a music workshop on Friday
at the Yamaha Music Center on Jl. Gatot Subroto in South Jakarta.
