German citizen found dead

JAKARTA: A German citizen, identified as Georg Carlo has been found dead in his rented house on Jl. Pisok, Pondok Ranji, Ciputat, Tangerang, on Monday evening.

City police spokesman Sr. Comr. I Ketut Untung Yoga Ana said that the police were still examining the remains to find the cause of death.

"We have received report that a German citizen was found dead in Ciputat. However, we can't tell yet if he was murdered or not. Preliminary investigations showed no sign of injury to his body," he said.

Carlo's body was found by his house helper at 10 p.m. He reported it to a nearby neighbor who called the police. -- JP
