Gerindra's Bahtra Distributes Basic Food Packages in Kendari, Residents Express Gratitude

Volunteers supporting the Gerindra Party spokesperson, Bahtra, have distributed basic food packages to several underprivileged residents in Kendari, Southeast Sulawesi. The distribution took place on Friday (31/07/2026) in the Kendari Salo sub-district, Kendari City. Volunteers from the ‘Sahabat Bahtra’ group visited the homes of residents directly in need of food assistance.

“This programme is conducted every Friday, sharing food packages with residents in need across various regencies and cities in Southeast Sulawesi,” said Bahtara. The volunteers approached residents during their daily activities at home to deliver the prepared food packages.

“This programme targets low-income families,” added the Deputy Chairman of Commission II of the House of Representatives (DPR).

Residents receiving the aid gathered in a residential area, where one mother expressed her gratitude to Bahtra for the assistance provided by the volunteers. “Thank you, Mr Bahtra, for looking after us; we have not made the wrong choice in supporting you. Therefore, we express our deepest thanks,” said one resident.
