Gerindra Party Advisory Board Member Dr Sumarjati Arjoso Passes Away

Gerindra Party Advisory Board member Dr Sumarjati Arjoso passed away on Friday (2/7). The news was conveyed by Gerindra Party Daily Chairman Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, who expressed his condolences over her passing. He stated that the late Sumarjati was a Gerindra political fighter who had given great dedication and contribution to the party. She also served as Head of the National Population and Family Planning Board (BKKBN) from 2003 to 2006. ‘Innalillahi wa inna ilaihi raji’un. I extend my deepest condolences on the passing of one of Gerindra’s political fighters, Dr Sumarjati Arjoso, S.K.M. She was a highly respected figure and gave her best to the Gerindra Party,’ Dasco said on his Instagram account. The Gerindra Party faction in the Indonesian House of Representatives also expressed their condolences. According to records, the deceased served as a member of the Gerindra Party Advisory Board, Chairwoman of PP PIRA for the 2009-2025 period, and was a member of the House of Representatives for the Gerindra Party faction from 2009 to 2014.
