Gerindra on Jokowi's Blusukan: Congratulations, It Means He's Healthy

Gerindra Party executive Prasetyo Hadi has responded to the 7th President Joko Widodo’s (Jokowi) move to begin a political safari by visiting Lampung on Friday (26/6). Pras, as he is familiarly known, said Gerindra extends its congratulations because the political safari shows that Jokowi’s condition is now healthy. “We from Gerindra, we would like to say congratulations because it means he is healthy again, he is fit, whereas previously he was somewhat unwell,” Pras said at the parliament complex in Jakarta on Friday (26/6). According to him, Jokowi’s political safari is not an issue. “As a figure and statesman, I think there is no problem,” he said. The 7th President Jokowi departed from Solo for Lampung on Friday (26/6). Jokowi will attend a PSI Regional Coordination Meeting in Mesuji. Jokowi is scheduled over three days to attend PSI events and invitations from volunteers and the community in Lampung. Today, Jokowi is also scheduled to attend a PSI Regional Coordination Meeting in Tulang Bawang. Afterwards, Jokowi will attend the Gajah Carnival Cultural Parade. Then on Saturday (27/6), Jokowi is scheduled to meet with traditional leaders of Lampung. Jokowi will also have activities at the Transmigration Museum and Bagelen Village. In addition, Jokowi will visit UMKM in Maliosewu and attend a volunteer event in Lampung. On the third day, Sunday (28/6), Jokowi is scheduled to attend a cultural parade, meet UMKM, and visit the Nurul Qodiri Islamic Boarding School.
