Gerindra Legislator Rocky Candra Distributes Rp300 Million Aid to Muhammadiyah Elementary School in Sungai Penuh
Gerindra Party legislator Rocky Candra has provided Rp300 million in Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) aid to support the construction of SD Plus Muhammadiyah in Sungai Penuh. The assistance was handed over during a visit to the school, where Candra also inspected the ongoing development progress. “Alhamdulillah, I had the opportunity to visit and inspect the construction at SD Plus Muhammadiyah Sungai Penuh while handing over Rp300 million in TJSL aid to support the school building,” Candra said in a written statement on Tuesday.
During the visit, Candra interacted warmly with the students, playing and joking with them. He also distributed gifts and delivered a message encouraging the children to continue learning and pursuing their ambitions. Candra stressed the importance of education and character building, echoing the directives of President Prabowo Subianto. He urged the students to study diligently, respect their teachers, and love their parents.
Candra noted that investment in the education sector should not be viewed solely in terms of physical infrastructure. “Building the future is not just about constructing buildings, but also about shaping character,” he said. He expressed hope that the TJSL funds would accelerate the school’s construction and provide a more comfortable learning environment for both students and teachers. He also motivated the students to dream big and persevere in their education, reminding them that they are the ones who will determine the future of Indonesia.
