Gerindra Legislator Provides Shoe Assistance to Students in Samosir Regency

The initiative began with a post from a mobile library teacher showing the condition of students’ shoes that were no longer fit for use, with some even torn. The post quickly went viral on social media platforms such as TikTok and Instagram, attracting widespread public attention. A prompt response came from the administrator of the Gerindra Party’s Instagram account, who tagged Sabam Rajagukguk in the comments with the message, “Permission, Bang, please help immediately @sabamrajagukguk,” wrote the Gerindra admin. In response, Sabam immediately replied. “Okay, Mindra, we’ll help right away,” Sabam responded. This interaction garnered much appreciation from netizens, who praised the speed and concern in addressing the community’s needs. Following up on this, the cadre from the party led by President Prabowo Subianto, namely Sabam along with his team, immediately went to the field to conduct data collection on the number of students and school requirements. Shoe assistance was then distributed directly to all students at two schools, namely SDN 1 Pardomuan Nauli and SDN 5 Pamutaran. On that occasion, Sabam also provided additional pocket money to the students. “May this make your steps more comfortable, more confident, and even more enthusiastic in pursuing knowledge,” said Sabam in a written statement, Thursday (30/4/2026).
