Gerindra Legislator Distributes Aid for 1448 H Muharram Celebration in Banyumas

A spirit of sharing and social solidarity marked the Muharram 1448 H celebration held at the Kebersamaan Field in Kaliwangi Village, Purwojati District, Banyumas Regency, Central Java.

Through the Novita Center team, Novita Wijayanti, a member of the House of Representatives from the Gerindra Party faction, channelled assistance to the village government and the Banser of Kaliwangi Village as a form of support for the social and religious activities involving the local community. The assistance reflects the instruction of Gerindra Party chairman Prabowo Subianto to always stand alongside the community, both in difficult times and in good times.

“This support is expected to strengthen the spirit of mutual cooperation whilst preserving the tradition of togetherness that characterises village life,” said Novita Wijayanti in a statement on Monday (20 July 2026).

As part of the event, the assistance was handed over symbolically to representatives of the organising committee and the Kaliwangi village government. The handover took place at the event venue, witnessed by volunteers, community figures, and Banser members who helped ensure the smooth running of the Muharram celebration.

Novita Wijayanti said that social and religious activities are an important part of building community solidarity. For this reason, she remains committed to supporting various activities that deliver direct benefits to the public.

“Care is manifested through concrete action. Through the Novita Center team, we are channelling assistance to the village head and the Banser of Kaliwangi Village as a form of support for social and religious activities, as well as the spirit of mutual cooperation within the community,” she said.

She further expressed hope that the assistance would not only help fund the event, but also further strengthen ties within the community.

“May it deepen bonds of fellowship, foster compassion, and bring blessings to the entire community,” she explained.

Novita Wijayanti also reaffirmed her commitment to continue standing with the community in various humanitarian and social activities.

“Together with the people, we keep moving forward, we keep serving,” she said.
