Gerak Jakarta partners with Dubbs to provide three-wheeled motorcycles in Jakarta

Jakarta (ANTARA) - The community organisation Gerak Jakarta has partnered with PT Dubbs Energi Teknologi to provide three-wheeled motorcycles, which are expected to support the transformation towards environmentally friendly vehicles in Jakarta.

Gerak Jakarta’s General Chair, Dhini Mudiani, stated that the partnership is based on a shared vision to advance Jakarta into a global city while supporting the acceleration of the Battery-Based Electric Motorised Vehicle (KBLBB) programme.

“We share the same vision of advancing Jakarta into a clean global city. We will support PT Dubbs in providing access to supply three-wheeled motorcycles in DKI Jakarta,” she said in a statement in Jakarta on Wednesday.

Through this partnership, Gerak Jakarta and Dubbs are optimistic about making a positive contribution to reducing carbon emissions while improving operational efficiency for fleets in DKI Jakarta.

To support the partnership, both parties signed a memorandum of understanding in Jakarta on Tuesday (12/5).

The memorandum was signed by Gerak Jakarta’s Director General, Angrondewi Intan, and PT Dubbs Energi Teknologi’s Director General, Wang Shanshan, witnessed by several Gerak Jakarta advisors including Eva Kusuma Sundari, Sigit Yanuar, Andi Yuslim Patawari, Pepen S. Almas, Agro Investama Group Director Steviani Tjandra, Jakarta City Transportation Council Secretary Ahmad Rijal, Menteng District Head Nurhelmi Savitri, and Deputy District Head of Menteng Fajar Suherman.

The event also featured two units of the electric three-wheeled vehicle fleet that will soon hit the streets of Jakarta.

Guests had the opportunity to view the smart electric vehicles directly during the electric vehicle demonstration session, which served as the closing of the event series.
