The prolonged effects of heated geopolitical conditions are altering the investment appetites of global energy and natural resources (SDA) entrepreneurs, along with plans for enhanced portfolio restructuring to maintain their businesses amid turbulence. The same phenomenon is currently occurring in Indonesia. Globally, the investment interests of global entrepreneurs in 2026 are depicted in a survey conducted by Bain & Company on 800 business executives in the fields of oil and gas, utilities, chemicals, mining, and agribusiness. Overall, economic factors will continue to drive capital flows. Sustainable capital investment will pour heavily into fossil fuel technology sectors because the majority of executives predict that global oil demand will continue to increase at least for the next decade.
