Genesis prepares to enter Indonesia, begins consultation phase with customers
Jakarta (ANTARA) - South Korean premium brand Genesis will soon enter the Indonesian automotive market, ready to compete with Lexus, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, and other luxury marques.
This was revealed in a statement by the Chief Operating Officer of PT Hyundai Motors Indonesia (HMID), Fransiscus Soerjopranoto, who said that a dedicated Genesis team is currently carrying out a series of intensive preparations.
"The dedicated Genesis team is currently conducting VIP sales consultation activities with existing customers and Genesis owners in Indonesia. This is all naturally part of the overall preparation ahead of the official launch of the Genesis brand in Indonesia," he said via text message on Thursday.
According to Fransiscus, the VIP sales consultations with existing Genesis vehicle customers and owners in Indonesia are being conducted so that the team can meet directly with customers and obtain important feedback.
This step forms part of the comprehensive preparations ahead of the official launch of the Genesis marque in the country.
HMID wants to ensure that the arrival of Genesis not only brings premium products but also an ownership experience in line with the brand's global standards.
Genesis Motor is the luxury vehicle division under the Hyundai group. The brand is known for its elegant design approach, advanced technology, and exclusive customer service.
Although no official launch date has been announced, this VIP consultation initiative is a strong signal that Genesis is increasingly close to enlivening the premium vehicle segment in Indonesia.
