Tuntun Sekuritas Indonesia has introduced a generative artificial intelligence-based feature named Tuntun AI, integrated into its investment app in early April 2026.

The company states that this feature represents the direct (native) implementation of generative AI technology on an Indonesian capital market brokerage platform, aimed at assisting retail investors in analysing data and making investment decisions.

Amid the flood of information in the capital markets, investors often face a wealth of data, rumours, and sentiments that can lead to confusion.

Director of Tuntun Sekuritas Indonesia, Ricki Juliandi, said the feature was developed as a decision-support system for investors.

“So far, the biggest enemy of retail investors has not been market fluctuations, but their own emotions. Through Tuntun AI, we are not just providing trading tools or raw data, but presenting a ‘rational brain’ that accompanies them 24 hours a day within the app to support data analysis,” Ricki stated in his remarks on Friday (17/4/2026).

He explained that Tuntun AI is designed to help users translate market data into more easily understandable and relevant information for decision-making.

Additionally, the system displays real-time market data, allowing users to access information aligned with the latest market conditions.

Tuntun AI is also claimed to provide contextual understanding of market conditions, including movement directions, affected sectors, and factors influencing those changes.

At the stock analysis level, the feature combines several approaches, including fundamental analysis, technical analysis, fund flow, as well as news and fair value references.

Other features include portfolio evaluation (portfolio health-check), which provides information on asset composition, investment concentration levels, and potential risks in the event of corrections in certain sectors.

Additionally, there is sector-based analysis (sector insight) that displays industry trends, factors driving sector movements, and related stocks within them.

Ricki emphasised that this technology is not intended to replace the investor’s role in decision-making.

According to him, the development of this feature is part of the company’s efforts to promote literacy and inclusion in the capital markets through technology utilisation.

“We believe that in the future, generative AI-based investment assistance will become the new standard in the national securities industry. Tuntun AI is the initial step for Tuntun Sekuritas in building a smarter and more adaptive investment experience for the future,” Ricki said.
