Generali Indonesia CEO Rebecca Tan Champions Women's Leadership and Growth in Life Insurance

Rebecca Tan, President Director and CEO of Generali Indonesia, is optimistic about the prospects for the life insurance industry in Indonesia, driven by the country’s large market potential and still-low insurance penetration. As the first woman to lead Generali Indonesia, Tan is actively promoting the role of female leaders within the life insurance sector. She is targeting improvements in service scale and human resource competency, including insurance agents, to better fulfil the company’s mission of enhancing customer service. Generali Indonesia currently serves more than 400,000 clients, including 400 corporate clients. In terms of product development and innovation, the company is also focusing on the needs of young workers, tailoring products to meet the protection goals of different customer segments.
