General Listyo Sigit Committed to Overseeing Prabowo's Priority Programmes

General Listyo Sigit Prabowo has officially commenced his duties as the Head of the Presidential Staff (KSP). Sigit stated that he is committed to overseeing the priority programmes of President Prabowo Subianto.

“I believe from the accounts shared earlier that the task is quite heavy. Hopefully, we can continue what has been implemented by Mr Dudung, my senior,” Sigit said in his remarks following the handover ceremony at the Presidential Palace complex, Central Jakarta, on Monday (5/10/2026).

Sigit stated that he will oversee the implementation of Prabowo’s priority programmes. He mentioned that the KSP will assist various institutions in completing these priority initiatives.

“For the interest of the nation and the people, we are certainly ready to continue what has been implemented, to make decisions in difficult situations, and to resolve the persistent issues that disrupt the President’s programmes. We understand that he has the Asta Cita programme, 17 priority programmes, as well as other programmes regarding food security, energy, and downstreaming,” he said.

He expressed satisfaction in having a strong team. He also recalled his time serving at the Palace as an aide to the President.

“Therefore, we are very pleased to have a very strong team, and hopefully, we can truly assist so that all of the President’s programmes and policies can be executed quickly, accurately, and completed in accordance with his directions and policies,” he added.

“We ask for permission to become a new family within the Presidential Staff. Indeed, after a long time, we were born here during my time as an aide, and perhaps at the end of my assignment, I have returned here again,” he concluded.
