Geely Secures Thousands of Orders and Wins Awards at IIMS 2026

Jakarta (ANTARA) - Chinese automotive brand, Geely, recorded positive achievements in its participation in the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2026, which ended on February 15, securing a total of thousands of orders and winning three awards in several new energy vehicle (NEV) categories.

“In the future, Geely will continue to expand its network, improve services, and add product options that suit the needs of consumers in the Indonesian market,” said Constantinus Herlijoso, sales & channel development director of Geely Auto Indonesia, in an official statement on Wednesday (February 25).

Geely showcased three vehicle models during the exhibition, consisting of two electric cars and one hybrid variant. All three models received positive responses from visitors. During the 11 days of IIMS, Geely successfully secured 1,776 new orders. The majority of these orders were for the Geely EX2 model, an affordable electric city car that was recently launched in the Indonesian market.

The enthusiasm of visitors for the Geely booth was partly driven by the presence of its premium sub-brand, Zeekr, which introduced its two flagship models in Indonesia, namely the Zeekr 009 and Zeekr 7X.

In addition to securing thousands of orders, Geely also successfully won three awards from the exhibition organizers, namely the best compact design electric car category for the Geely EX2, the best mid-range electric car for the Geely EX5, and the best luxury electric car for the Zeekr 009.

Geely said that these awards are proof of the brand’s ability to present electric vehicles that are not only superior in terms of technology and performance, but also in terms of design and driving experience in various market segments.
