Geely posts record H1 sales and revenue growth
Chinese automaker Geely Automobile Holdings Limited posted record sales and revenue growth in the first half of this year, according to its interim report released on Monday (17/8). The company announced record sales of more than 1.42 million vehicles, with revenue growing 15 per cent year on year to 173.6 billion yuan (1 yuan = Rp2,651) during the period. Marking the company’s sixth consecutive year of positive first-half revenue growth, the company also recorded a 46 per cent increase in core profit attributable to owners of the parent company, reaching 9.68 billion yuan for the period. Geely Auto’s overseas sales soared 158 per cent year on year to more than 474,000 units during the period, surpassing its total export volume for the whole of 2025. The automaker, based in Hangzhou, the capital of Zhejiang Province in eastern China, operates in 114 overseas markets.
