Geely Auto Indonesia handed over hundreds of EX2 units to consumers in Indonesia during a ceremonial event at Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) in East Jakarta on Saturday, 28 February 2026. The handover ceremony for the Geely EX2 was conducted simultaneously in Indonesia and Thailand.

More than 5,000 Geely EX2 units have now been delivered to consumers across both countries. The handover ceremony served as an expression of Geely’s appreciation to early adopters who played a role in building awareness and initial market acceptance of the model, which is the bestselling vehicle in its home market of China.

“Since the Geely EX2 pre-booking period opened, we have received more than 5,000 orders. Currently, the delivery process to consumers is progressing in stages, with an estimated waiting time extending to March–April 2026,” stated Constantinus Herlijoso, Sales and Channel Development Director of Geely Auto Indonesia.

The Geely EX2 is designed as an intelligent urban electric vehicle targeting young professionals who desire a stylish car with an enjoyable driving experience. The EX2 is available in attractive pastel colours, complemented by a smiling front grille and 16-inch wheels styled as four-leaf clovers, which emphasise its modern and youthful character.

As a compact electric vehicle, the model offers a functional cabin with ergonomic seats, spacious legroom, an expansive boot, and a 70-litre front trunk that adds practicality for storing daily necessities.

The Geely EX2 is also equipped with active safety features including blind spot detection and a 540° camera with transparent chassis display. This feature facilitates manoeuvrability and parking in confined spaces whilst helping drivers remain alert in heavy traffic.

Equipped with an Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) comprising 12 functions, the Geely EX2 provides drivers with a sense of security and confidence both in urban and highway driving conditions.

To welcome the month of Ramadan and the upcoming mudik (homecoming) season, Geely has introduced the “Geely Ramadan Celebration” programme, a special after-sales initiative designed for customers. The programme is tailored to support safe and comfortable homecoming journeys with Geely.

Throughout March 2026, customers can enjoy complimentary general check-up services covering labour costs at all authorised Geely service centres. The inspection covers the exterior, engine compartment, driver’s cabin, and underbody areas including the electrical system.

During the peak homecoming period of 19–24 March 2026, 11 Geely dealers will remain operational in five major cities that serve as primary homecoming routes: Jakarta, Bandung, Semarang, Surabaya, and Denpasar. Geely is also providing a 24-hour Emergency Roadside Assistance (ERA) service, ensuring that every homecoming journey remains smooth, enjoyable, and worry-free.

Geely continues to expand its dealership network, with 45 dealers currently operational and a target of 80 dealers by year-end to serve consumers in more cities across Indonesia.
