Gedebage Bandung student killer arrested; siblings claim to be authorities to the victim

Two siblings, AD (32) and MS (21), were arrested for the murder of a 19-year-old student identified as AC in Gedebage, Rancabolang, Gedebage District, Bandung City, West Java, on Sunday 22 February 2026. Police said the killing began when the victim, who was fishing late at night on Saturday 21 February 2026, was approached by the two perpetrators who claimed to be law enforcement officers and checked the victim’s vehicle. ‘They said they were members and checked the vehicle’s paperwork, then tried to take the vehicle,’ said the acting head of Bandung Metropolitan Police, Adj. Comb. Adiwijaya. ‘However, the victim resisted, leading to a scuffle. The perpetrators stabbed the victim in the chest three times and took the victim’s vehicle. The victim died at the scene. The two perpetrators are siblings.’
