GDPS deploys aviation professionals to Saudi Arabia
Jakarta – PT Garuda Daya Pratama Sejahtera (GDPS), a Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) company and subsidiary of Garuda Indonesia Group, has facilitated the deployment of 12 Indonesian aviation professionals who will serve as Cabin Technicians in Saudi Arabia.
The 12 professionals will be involved in aircraft maintenance projects conducted by Regent Aerospace Corporation at the MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul) facility in the country.
In a statement in Jakarta on Wednesday, GDPS Chief Executive Officer Cornelis Radjawane said the involvement of Indonesian professionals in this project represents an important milestone for the company in expanding its global presence.
“This move simultaneously demonstrates that Indonesian human resources possess the competence and expertise capable of meeting international aviation industry standards,” he said.
“The deployment of aviation professionals in the MRO project in Saudi Arabia demonstrates that Indonesian human resources have the quality, competence, and integrity to compete in the global aviation industry,” he added.
For the company, according to Cornelis, this is a strategic step in strengthening its position as a provider of specialised professional personnel. He noted that international market development is pursued in a measured manner through project collaboration and cross-border cooperation, consistent with GDPS’s transformation as a technology-based BPO service provider that is adaptive to global industry dynamics.
Going forward, the company is committed to continuing to expand international collaboration opportunities through the provision of highly skilled professionals across various industrial sectors. Cornelis said this approach is expected not only to strengthen the company’s position in the global market but also to create opportunities for Indonesian talent to contribute to strategic projects at the international level.
