GDPS deploys 10 aircraft maintenance workers to Saudi Arabia

Tangerang (ANTARA) - Business Process Outsourcing company PT Garuda Daya Pratama Sejahtera (GDPS), which is part of the Garuda Indonesia Group, has deployed 10 high-skilled workers as cabin technicians to support an aircraft maintenance project in Saudi Arabia. GDPS President Director Cornelis Radjawane in Tangerang on Friday stated that the renewed trust in the same project demonstrates that Indonesian professionals are deemed capable of maintaining work quality according to the needs of international partners. In fact, in February, his side had deployed 12 professionals on the same project. With this addition, a total of 22 Indonesian professionals have been deployed to support the aircraft maintenance project in Saudi Arabia. “The sustainability of this assignment also reflects recognition of the competence and professionalism of the workforce prepared by the company in supporting the global aviation industry,” Cornelis said in his statement. “This is not just about deploying workers, but about how Indonesian human resources demonstrate quality, discipline, and professionalism, so that this trust is given again,” he added. According to Cornelis, the deployed professionals have undergone a selection and preparation process in accordance with the project needs and international industry standards. He assessed that the character of Indonesian workers, known for being adaptive, friendly, and hardworking, becomes one of the added values in the eyes of global employers. Previously, the company has also placed professionals in various countries such as South Korea, Papua New Guinea, and the United Arab Emirates as part of developing professional workforce services in the international market. “Going forward, the company will continue to expand international cooperation opportunities while opening wider opportunities for Indonesian professionals to gain safe global work experience,” he said.
