GBK Revenue Soars After Taking Over Sultan Hotel Management
The Gelora Bung Karno Complex Management Centre (GBK) recorded revenue of Rp 812 billion in 2025 based on audited financial reports. “In 2022, GBK’s revenue was recorded at Rp 255 billion. This means that 2025 revenue increased nearly fourfold over three years,” said GBK Finance Director Hendry Arisandi in a written statement on Monday, 11 May 2026.
GBK’s revenue last year also surged compared to 2024, which was recorded at Rp 566 billion.
According to Hendry, the financial performance strengthens the optimisation of state assets, including the arrangement of Block 15, formerly the Sultan Hotel. Hendry hopes that this management can provide added economic value and greater benefits for the state and society.
Throughout 2025, the GBK area was utilised for various sports, cultural, MICE, recreational, commercial, and national and international public agenda activities.
The President Director of the Gelora Bung Karno Complex Management Centre, Rakhmadi A. Kusumo, stated that the 2025 revenue achievement serves as motivation to maintain the trust in managing the area professionally, orderly, and beneficial for the state and the public.
He also hopes that this positive performance can be further strengthened through the arrangement and optimisation of Block 15. The Gelora Bung Karno Complex Management Centre views the arrangement of Block 15 as an important part of the state asset optimisation agenda in the GBK area.
In its implementation, the Gelora Bung Karno Complex Management Centre coordinates with the State Secretariat Ministry, the Ministry of Finance, local government, law enforcement apparatus, police, and the Indonesian National Armed Forces. This coordination aims to ensure that the entire Block 15 process runs orderly, safely, measurably, and in accordance with applicable legal provisions.
