Gaza death toll from Israeli attacks surpasses 72,000

Gaza (ANTARA) - Medical sources in the Gaza Strip reported on Thursday that the death toll from Israeli aggression since 7 October 2023 has reached 72,819, with 172,894 injured. Hospitals in the Gaza Strip received six dead and 39 injured in the past 48 hours. According to the sources, the number of Palestinian deaths since the ceasefire on 11 October 2025 has risen to 922, while the injured count reached 2,786 and 781 bodies have been recovered. The same sources stated that some victims remain trapped under rubble and in the streets, as rescue teams and ambulances have yet to reach them.
