Gaza conflict death toll surpasses 73,000 since October 2023

Medical sources within the Gaza-based health authority stated on Sunday (14/6) that the total number of deaths resulting from the Israel-Hamas conflict in Gaza since 7 October 2023 has surpassed 73,000. The sources told Xinhua that the overall death toll continues to climb amid ongoing Israeli military operations in various areas of the Gaza Strip. Meanwhile, medical sources at Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City reported receiving four bodies and several casualties, some of whom suffered serious injuries, following an Israeli airstrike on the Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza. Eyewitnesses told Xinhua that Israeli drones fired at least one missile at a group of Palestinians near the Yemen Al-Saeed Hospital in the Jabalia camp on Sunday. The Israeli military has yet to comment on the incident.
