Gathering Ministers and SOE Heads, Prabowo to Present Macroeconomic Conditions

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - President Prabowo Subianto is scheduled to present Indonesia’s macroeconomic conditions on Wednesday (8/4/2026) this afternoon. This will be delivered by Prabowo at a briefing attended by ministers and state officials of the Cabinet Merah Putih at the Presidential Palace, Jakarta, on Wednesday afternoon. “Yes, that’s correct. The presentation of macroeconomic conditions by the President, the Governor of BI, and others,” said Head of the Poverty Alleviation Acceleration Agency Budiman Sudjatmiko to Kompas.com on Wednesday. Teddy stated that, in addition to ministers and agency heads, the agenda will also be attended by Echelon I officials from ministries and managing directors of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN). “Mr President is gathering all members of the Cabinet Merah Putih along with all Echelon I from Ministries/Agencies, all Director Generals/deputies as well as Managing Directors of SOEs,” said Teddy.
