Garuda to discount fares

JAKARTA (JP): Garuda Indonesia plans to commemorate the
country's golden anniversary by giving discounts of up to 50
percent on air fares to special passengers of its domestic
flights during August.

Adult passengers who were born in August 1945 or on August 17
of any year will get a discount of 45 percent on standard rates
for both the economy and business classes, Garuda announced
yesterday.

Indonesian children between two and 10 years of age, who were
born on August 17, will get a 50 percent discount for both the
economy and business classes. (32)
