Garuda Red and White People's Brigade Fully Supports Prabowo's Government Until 2029

Jakarta, VIVA – The Brigade Rakyat Garuda Merah Putih (Garuda MP) held a Coordination Meeting (Rakor) and organisational declaration in Lembang, Bandung, West Java, as a step towards national consolidation and an affirmation of the organisation’s future struggle direction. The event was attended by executives and members from various regions and served as an important moment in strengthening the organisation’s internal solidarity. In the forum, the structure of the Brigade Rakyat Garuda Merah Putih (Garuda MP) leadership was agreed upon and established, with Y Pasomba as General Chairman, Warsun as General Secretary, and Adrianus Eko Saputro as General Treasurer. In addition to the appointment of leadership, the Rakor and Declaration also produced a joint commitment to build a strong, integrity-driven organisation that actively contributes to national and state life. As part of the organisation’s political stance, the Brigade Rakyat Garuda Merah Putih has officially stated its full support for the government of President Prabowo Subianto and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka until 2029. Pasomba stated that the organisation is ready to play an active role in escorting government policies that favour the people. “The Brigade Rakyat Garuda Merah Putih will become a constructive people’s force, safeguarding national unity, and supporting government programmes for the realisation of societal welfare,” he said in a press release on Sunday, 12 April 2026. Meanwhile, Garuda MP Deputy General Secretary Akbar Maulana Husni appreciated the holding of the Garuda MP leadership declaration event. “May this organisation have an impact on society and also on the government. Garuda Merah Putih supports the Nawacita of President Prabowo Subianto’s Government and is ready to synergise with the government,” said Akbar Maulana. Through this event, Garuda Merah Putih also invites all elements of the nation to continue maintaining national stability, strengthening unity, and together building a more advanced Indonesia. The Rakor and Declaration, he said, will become the initial milestone in strengthening the organisation’s existence and expanding its active role in the midst of society.
