Garuda pilot and Ecstasy
Garuda pilot and Ecstasy
From Kompas
Garuda pilot MS flying the Amsterdam-Jakarta route was caught in the Netherlands with Ecstasy, a drug prohibited in Indonesia. He was taking a great risk by trying to dodge the prevailing regulations.
A few weeks previously our government had just requested the aid of the Dutch government to closely watch the traffic of Ecstasy to Indonesia.
The high frequency of Ecstasy discoveries by the authorities seems to indicate that the drug was part of the luggage carried previously by the same man.
Our leaders in Jakarta especially should be more critical of people who ruin the younger generation through their Ecstasy trade. Should a type like MS be rescued from a court of justice in the Netherlands?
