Garuda Offers 20% Discount Ahead of Mudik: Here Are the Routes

Garuda Indonesia is offering attractive pricing promotions for the Lebaran Mudik exodus in 2026. Chief Executive Officer Glenny H Kairupan said Garuda Indonesia has launched the Takjil Ramadan promo with ticket discounts of up to 20 percent on all domestic and international routes. The promo is valid for bookings from 2 to 8 March 2026, with travel valid until 7 September 2026. Glenny said Garuda Indonesia is opening access to more competitive fares through the Takjil Ramadan promo ahead of the Mudik period. The aim is to allow people to plan their travel earlier, comfortably and affordably. “As the Mudik period approaches, tickets tend to be snapped up. Garuda has chosen to lower prices first through discounts,” Glenny said. He explained that the discounts are accessible via Garuda’s official channels, including the FlyGaruda website and app, as well as partner online travel agents. Prospective passengers simply enter the code MUDIK26 at checkout. Glenny noted the domestic routes included in the programme include Jakarta–Makassar round-trip from around Rp 4 million, Jakarta–Palembang from around Rp 2 million, Jakarta–Palu and Jakarta–Pekanbaru from around Rp 3.4 million, and Makassar–Kendari from around Rp 1.4 million. On international routes, Jakarta–Amsterdam from around Rp 11.7 million, Jakarta–Hong Kong from around Rp 5.4 million, Jakarta–Melbourne from around Rp 8.2 million, Jakarta–Singapore from around Rp 3.5 million, and Bali–Sydney from around Rp 8.8 million. Garuda also adds a “sweetener” in the form of zero-percent instalments for up to three months through 12 partner banks, namely BNI, BRI, BSI, BTN, CIMB Niaga, DBS, Mandiri, Mega, Panin, Permata, Sinarmas, and UOB. Lastly, the Top Spender programme offers a Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 prize for the customer with the highest transaction value during the promo period.
