Garuda Indonesia Temporarily Suspends Flights To and From Doha
Garuda Indonesia has temporarily suspended flights to and from Doha, Qatar, effective 28 February 2026 until further notice. The suspension follows the temporary closure of Qatar’s airspace resulting from escalating tensions in the Middle East region.
The suspension has been implemented as a preventive measure to prioritise flight safety and security, according to a statement issued by Garuda Indonesia’s management in Jakarta on Sunday, 1 March 2026.
The airline has confirmed that all other international routes continue to operate normally and have been ensured not to traverse affected airspace. Garuda Indonesia stated it will continue to monitor the situation closely and provide regular updates.
Passengers affected by the suspension have been advised to regularly check flight schedules via the airline’s 24-hour Contact Centre on 021–2351 9999 or 08041807807, or through the company’s official website.
