Garuda Indonesia Temporarily Suspends Commercial Director Effective 14 August

PT Garuda Indonesia Tbk (GIAA) has made changes to its board of directors. In an information disclosure on the Indonesia Stock Exchange on Wednesday (12/8/2026), it was stated that the Board of Commissioners of Garuda Indonesia has decided on the temporary suspension of Reza Aulia Hakim from his position as Commercial Director. This decision will take effect on 14 August 2026.

“Referring to the Board of Commissioners’ Letter Number GARUDA/DEKOM/074/2026 dated 11 August 2026, and taking into account the Letter from the Head of the State-Owned Enterprises Regulatory Agency Number SR-452/BP/08/2026 dated 11 August 2026, the Company’s Board of Commissioners has decided on the temporary suspension of Mr. Reza Aulia Hakim from his position as Commercial Director of the Company effective 14 August 2026,” explained Andreas Tumpal H Hutapea, Vice President Corporate Secretary & TJSL Group Head of Garuda Indonesia, in the information disclosure on Wednesday.

Garuda Indonesia emphasised that the temporary suspension does not have a direct impact on the company’s operational activities. The airline’s flight services and business activities are confirmed to continue operating normally.

On Wednesday (12/8/2026), GIAA’s share price closed down 3.9% at the level of Rp 74 per share. The decline occurred following a rally over the past week.
