Garuda Indonesia Ranks 10th in World's Best In-Flight Catering for 2026

Proud news has arrived from the aviation sector. Garuda Indonesia has secured a spot in the top 10 airlines for the world’s best in-flight catering in 2026.

The ranking was compiled based on analysis of over 125,000 passenger reviews from the world’s top 100 airlines, assessing in-flight dining services and ordered by highest score.

According to Canstar Travel Insurance’s study, cited by the New York Post, Garuda Indonesia ranks 10th among the world’s best in-flight catering airlines.

The national carrier has surpassed airlines such as Bangkok Airways, Malaysia Airlines, and several prominent US carriers.

For long-haul and international routes, passengers can typically choose from Nusantara-specific dishes, Western cuisine, and other Asian meals.

According to Garuda Indonesia’s official website (29 May 2026), special meal options are available to accommodate passenger needs, including religious, health, and dietary requirements.

The airline also offers children’s and infant meals.

Diet-specific options such as high-fibre, low-calorie, and low-purine meals are available on certain routes.

Domestic Garuda Indonesia passengers can currently select children’s meals, along with vegetarian and vegan options on all routes.
