Garuda Indonesia Partners with Attorney General's Office to Enhance Good Corporate Governance

Garuda Indonesia is reinforcing synergy and coordination with the Attorney General’s Office of the Republic of Indonesia as part of its commitment to strengthening the sustainable implementation of good corporate governance. This commitment is realised through various coordination steps, including audiences and follow-up on the delivery of information related to enhancing commercial governance, involving several members of Garuda Indonesia’s management in March 2026. “This step is part of the company’s ongoing efforts to support the transformation process that is currently focused on strengthening business fundamentals, governance, and more prudent, transparent, and accountable business practices,” said Head of Corporate Communications at Garuda Indonesia, Dicky Irchamsyah, in a statement in Jakarta on Wednesday. Dicky conveyed that this also clarifies the context of some circulating news reports regarding the summoning of one of Garuda Indonesia’s directors. He clarified that the context of the summoning is part of the correspondence process for requesting information and strengthening coordination carried out by the Attorney General’s Office of the Republic of Indonesia to several stakeholders in Garuda Indonesia’s management environment regarding the enhancement of the company’s commercial governance aspects. Furthermore, Dicky explained that besides Garuda Indonesia’s Director of Commerce, there are several other related parties from the management ranks who were also asked for statements and information as part of the coordination and alignment process to support the optimisation of corporate governance. Garuda Indonesia assures that it will continue to strengthen synergy and coordination with the Attorney General’s Office of the Republic of Indonesia and fully support the provision of data or information needed in accordance with applicable legal provisions and regulations.
