The flight departs from Sentani Airport at 08.50 WIT to Timika, then continues to Denpasar, and subsequently to Jakarta, arriving at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport at 15.30 WIB.
Dicky added that with Bali’s position as the main gateway for international tourism, this route is also expected to encourage an increase in tourist visits to Papua, while contributing to strengthening the regional economy through the tourism and trade sectors.
“Garuda Indonesia will continue to evaluate and develop its flight network adaptively to ensure connectivity that is relevant to the needs of the community, while strengthening the company’s strategic role as the national flag carrier,” he concluded.
