Garuda drops Paris-Bali
PARIS (Reuters): Indonesian flag carrier Garuda will drop its
twice-weekly flights between Paris, Jakarta and Bali in late
October, Garuda ticket agents in the French capital said on
Tuesday.
The ticket agents could give no reason for the decision but
the French financial daily Les Echos said the decision was due to
the collapse of the rupiah currency.
From October 26, travelers in France wishing to fly Garuda to
Jakarta will first have to make their way to Amsterdam or
Frankfurt, the ticket agents said.
